Redlands High School Dodge Field is a 6,000-person capacity outdoor athletic complex with stadium seating located within the existing Redlands High School campus along the north side of Citrus Avenue. Under the guidance of HMC Architects, the 6.6-acre project was converted in 2007 from varsity baseball and softball fields to the new stadium, track and field, and 4,000-sf ticketing, concession, and restroom building. Prior to the construction of this project, home football games were played at the University of Redlands.
Civil designs include an infiltration basin for treatment of storm water, and incorporate a channelized floodway into hardscape site features to convey overflow storm water from the undersized Oriental Channel and protect the site during large rain events.
